About the role

This year has introduced a range of creative challenges that are fostering growth and innovation within our design teams.

We are seeking a Senior Graphic Designer with expertise in Packaging Design to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating impactful packaging designs that enhance brand visibility and appeal to consumers. You will also mentor junior designers and bring fresh, innovative thinking to every project. Experience with digital media is a plus, and a good level of English is required.

In this role, you will act as the Lead Designer for one of the world’s top FMCG brands. You will be responsible for supporting the client’s global communication strategies, both online and offline, while leading a small team of talented designers.

As part of the creative process, you’ll need to deeply understand the brand’s identity and propose innovative visual ideas that effectively convey the brand’s values, messages, and personality.

This position is based at our headquarters in Barcelona.

Responsibilities

Packaging Design: Lead packaging design projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and consumer appeal.
Creative Leadership: Mentor and guide junior team members, providing feedback and support in skill development.
Innovative Thinking: Generate fresh, creative ideas that set our products apart and enhance the consumer experience.
Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to ensure designs align with business goals and resonate with consumers.
Digital Media: Contribute to digital design projects, including online banners, social media graphics, and digital advertising (experience in this area is a plus but not mandatory).
Production Oversight: Work with print vendors and production teams to ensure the highest quality execution of packaging materials.
Client Interaction: Present design concepts to internal stakeholders and clients, refining and improving designs based on feedback.
Project Management: Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining design quality.
Minimum requirements

Requirements

Experience: 5+ years of experience in graphic design, with a focus on packaging.
Skills:
Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
Experience in 3D rendering software for mock-ups is a plus.
Excellent understanding of print production processes.
Ability to conceptualize and create designs that capture attention and communicate key messaging effectively.
Experience with digital design (e.g., banners, social media graphics) is a plus.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
Strong creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
A keen eye for detail and high standards for quality.
Leadership skills with the ability to coach and support junior team members.
Ability to work independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
