KFC necesitaba llevar a cabo una acción que le hiciera conectar de lleno con los gamers, sin dejar a un lado el tono y el humor que venían trabajando desde hace algunos años. Después de nueve años, la franquicia de videojuegos de coches más famosa del mundo, Gran turismo, lanzaba una nueva entrega: GT7. Muchas miradas puestas en este juego que prometía reunir gráficos increíbles, las mejores marcas de coches y los circuitos más míticos, para brindar una experiencia de juego nunca antes vista. Y allí estábamos nosotros. Descubrimos que había un circuito que tenía forma de muslo de #PolloPollo y propusimos realizar una competición en él. Habilitaremos un servidor de KFC donde poder descargar el KFCar y poder pilotar en el KFCircuit. Todos los días, a las 21 horas, los tres pilotos que harán la vuelta más rápida, tendrán cena gratis. Después de 50 días con esta competición, los 50 tiempos más rápidos de todos, se enfrentarán en la gran carrera final por un auténtico gran premio: el poll-auto, un prodigio de la ingeniería que KFC entregará al piloto que más rápido haya realizado la vuelta, es decir, el que mejor conozca las curvas del #PolloPollo.

KFC needed an action that would really connect with gamers, while maintaining the tone and humour they had been working on for a number of years. After nine years, the world’s most famous car game franchise, Gran turismo, launched a new instalment: GT7. Many eyes were on this game that promised to bring together incredible graphics, the best car brands and the most legendary circuits, to provide a gaming experience never seen before. And there we were. We discovered that there was a track in the shape of a #ChickenChickenThigh and we proposed to run a competition on it. We will set up a KFC server where you can download the KFCar and race on the KFCircuit. Every day, at 9pm, the three drivers who do the fastest lap will get a free dinner. After 50 days of this competition, the 50 fastest times of all will face each other in the final race for a real grand prize: the poll-auto, an engineering prodigy that KFC will give to the driver who has done the fastest lap, i.e. the one who knows the curves of the #ChickenChickenThigh best.
